Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct a desk review of the current materials pertinent to programs and service deliveries on GBV/SRH
Develop data collection tools in consultation with partners
Support the team lead in the design of detailed methodology, planning, and implementation of the survey,
Review existing international and national technical guidelines or SOPs for GBV and SRH services
Ensure timely, accurate reporting of activities to the Team Leader of the assignment
Timely submission of input for the final baseline report, including survey tools and methodology
Other relevant duties as assigned by the Country Representative.
Education:
Advanced degree (Masters) in behavioral/social sciences, psychology, public health, or related disciplines
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in GBV, SRH, and family planning
Professional experience in working in young people/adolescent programming related to GBV/SRH
In-depth knowledge of behavior change issues and challenges, as well as adolescent issues
Knowledge of concepts, principles and key considerations related to disability inclusion
Experience working with the most at-risk population.
Previous experience in humanitarian settings.
Able to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
Knowledge on national policies and strategies on GBV/HP, SRHR, family planning and HIV/AIDS.
Good analytical skills and report writing experiences with international and national organizations.
Knowledge of right-based approach to women, men, boys, and girls, most at risk in humanitarian and development settings
Preferably: Experience working with Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) data and alternative data sources in the areas of GBV/HP, SRH, family planning and HIV/AIDS
Preferably: demonstrable experience in managing large-scale surveys.
Excellent oral and written skills in English and fluency in at least two local languages.
