Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Participate in the GWI-led consortium GBV, MHPSS consensus project with internal and external audiences
Participate in interagency forums, including international travel where relevant
Contribute to maintenance of good working relations within and between International Medical Corps’ departments and offices
Exemplify core principles of GBV and MHPSS programming, including respect, non-discrimination, responsible use of power, nonviolence, and promotion of gender equality
Remain flexible in adopting additional responsibilities based on organizational and programming needs, in coordination with the Senior GBV and MHPSS Advisors and other members of the GBV and MHPSS Technical Advisory teams
Maintain regular communication with Ethiopia GBV and MHPSS teams and project consortium team members
Support development of scenario-based learning tools
Support development of practitioner-focused discussion guides
Support development of practitioner-focused professional development sessions
Support development of additional technical guidance and learning materials for GBV, MHPSS practitioners, based on needs and in consultation with the project team and advisory board
Document learning and recommendations for establishing dialogue spaces between MHPSS and GBV service providers in humanitarian settings.
Contribute to project reports and representation materials
Participate in the project to the advisory board and external partners
Education:
Graduate degree in mental health (e.g., psychology, clinical social work, psychiatry)
Experience:
Five years’ relevant experience, including experience with GBV and MHPSS programming and service delivery
Experience with programming in humanitarian settings
Experience with oversight of case management services for survivors of GBV and with MHPSS needs
Familiarity with global GBViE and IASC MHPSS standards and guidance
Demonstrated commitment to core values of GBV and MHPSS programming
Demonstrated skill in conducting analysis and evaluation of technical aspects of proposals and programs.
Experience with humanitarian architecture and knowledge of mandates/roles of donors, UN agencies, and other NGOs.

English fluency (oral, written)
