Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
(i) Support the implementation of the Bank’s new Development Effectiveness Policy Framework, ensuring compliance within INE.
(ii) Support the improvement of INE project performance throughout the project cycle, identifying opportunities and accompanying the Divisions at different stages, from design, implementation monitoring and project closure.
(iii) Review and guide teams in the preparation of key project approval documentation, ensuring the highest quality standards and compliance with Bank policies.
(iv) Collaborate with INE’s operational team and technical staff in reviewing the Bank’s operational policies and technical and corporate policy documents to ensure systematic inclusion of the Bank’s strategic development approach.
(v) Support the development of an agenda of operational knowledge products, including lessons learned, impact assessments, and their dissemination.
(vi) Support other activities, as necessary, related to effective preparation and execution of the INE portfolio.
Education :
Master’s degree in economics, public policy, or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
Experience :
Minimum 5 years of experience in the Latin American and Caribbean region, with demonstrable experience in data analysis for project management, identification, preparation and execution. Experience in infrastructure projects in a multilateral institution is desirable. Experience in reporting, strategy analysis, as well as in aspects of communication and knowledge dissemination. Analytical and synthesis skills, as well as ease of oral and written communication, are required. Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
Languages:
Ability to express oneself orally and in writing in Spanish and English. French and Portuguese desirable.
